Q: What is Duo?

A: To access the online HRIF-QCI Reporting System, you must use the Duo Two-Factor Authentication security software. Two-factor authentication enhances the security of your online accounts by using your phone to verify your identity. This prevents anyone but you from accessing your accounts, even if they know your password. For more information about Duo Security visit: http://guide.duosecurity.com/.

Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your account to make sure that your account stays safe, even if someone else knows your password. And you'll be alerted right away (on your phone) if someone does know your password and tries to log in with it. This second factor of authentication is separate and independent from the username and password step — Duo never sees your password.

Q: I just got a new mobile device/number, how do I reset my Duo account?

A: Submit a Help Ticket at www.cpqcchelp.org and include the new device type (Apple/Android) and/or number so your DUO account can be updated. You will receive a text with DUO re-activation instructions.

Q: How can I get a Duo bypass code?

A: Submit a Help Ticket at www.cpqcchelp.org requesting a DUO bypass code.

NOTE: Bypass codes expire after 90 uses. You will have to contact HRIF Support to receive a new code.
